Senior Staff Manager QCT (Qualcomm CDMA Technologies)

As a technical lead, I am currently commercializing IMS Solution

(VoLTE, VT and RCS) for Verizon Wireless with various OEM’s.

Virtually managing a team of 50+ engineers and handling end to end

product cycle which includes development, integration, test and

deployment to customers. Working with customers in planning next

products, launching current products and solving day to day technical

issues.

Worked on a technical evaluation for make vs. buy decisions and

eventually led the team with the technical evaluation and decisions

for buy and integrate.

Leading VoLTE+G DSDS Design and implementation for China Market

in Qualcomm Modem, which includes interaction with Call Manager,

LTE RRC, ML1 and IMS.

Participated and technically contributed in several GSMA (standards

body) meetings/conferences for RCS product

Leading the design and implementation team of 15+ engineers of LTE

based IMS-RCS/RCS-E services based on split architecture for dual

core processor (application processor and baseband) for worldwide

markets which includes North America, Europe, India, China and

more. Development team is split into various HLOS with the single

architecture.

Filed Patents on DSDS and the single architecture for different HLOS

and also filed the patent on Single Registration technique for the

services being on the different processors.

Leading RCS technical discussions with various Operators around the

world such as Vodaphone, Telephonica, ATT and Reliance to define

product portfolio. This is to customize and streamline their launches

as per their region requirements.

Designed and executed the implementation of IMS-Presence Based

Service on various LTE modem and HLOS (Android and Windows) from

Qualcomm.

Worked on technical evaluation for an acquisition of MMS/EMAIL

stack and eventually led the product integration cycle.

Worked with Motorola very closely in building their Motorola first

Razr UI using Brew UI Widgets.

Authored various technical documents and provided several trainings

to worldwide customers on Qualcomm products.

Led Major US Carrier focused team from Qualcomm for all the

various custom requirements on Brew and BrewMP product lines.

I also worked on BrewUI Widgets and several text controllers such as

Zi, iTAP for various different languages (Pinyin, Strokes, Italian and

English).

Designed and Developed a product for Sprint using LUA scripting

language.

Worked on LIS (Lawful intercept server) for Qualcomm Chat.

I have also developed distributed services using CORBA for Sprint and

Verizon.

Designed and developed NMS (Network Management System) using
